Required Vaccines:

  • Dogs – Rabies, DHPP & Bordetella (Kennel cough)
  • Cats – Feline Leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccinations for cats.

 

General Policies

  • All services are by appointment only and must be during business hours. If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please call to reschedule.
  • Please arrive at your scheduled drop-off and pick-up times.
  • For safety, all dogs must enter and exit the building on a leash.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to aggressive dogs or those with health conditions, flea/tick infestations, or other concerns.
  • We may report signs of animal abuse or neglect to legal authorities.
  • Fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Vaccination, Health & Medical Requirements

  • Dogs must be free of kennel cough or have completed treatment at least 30 days prior to their visit.
  • We recommend all dogs be on an oral flea treatment. If fleas are found, Capstar will be administered at the owner’s expense.
  • We cannot accept dogs that are pregnant, in heat, have stitches, open wounds, or have been sick or on antibiotics within the last 7 days.
  • Dogs must be at least 5 months old and fully vaccinated at least two weeks before boarding.
  • Dogs 8 months or older can join social playtime. However, an Unneutered Male Fee may apply if behaviors such as humping, marking, or aggression arise.
  • Medication Administration: $2.50 per application per day (must be in original container). We cannot administer injections or be responsible for missed doses.
  • Veterinary Transport & Supply Runs: $20–$100 based on distance if we must pick up food, medication, or take your dog to the vet.
  • If your dog requires medical attention while in our care and we can’t reach you or your emergency contact, we will seek treatment from a local vet. You will be responsible for all costs, which will be billed to you directly by the vet.

Boarding & Daycare Policies

  • All daycare dogs must be picked up by closing time. A 15-minute grace period applies, after which a $25 late fee will be charged. Dogs not picked up within 30 minutes will be boarded overnight at our standard 4×7 rate.
  • A compatibility evaluation is required before boarding or daycare.
  • Pitbull and Rottweiler breeds (or mixes) must sign up for individual play sessions/let-outs.
  • A $10 special handling fee applies to pets requiring extra care due to social, behavioral, or leash-walking needs. This fee may be added at any time if adjustments are needed.
  • A $3 separate feeding fee applies if disclosed at check-in instead of the $10 special handling fee.

Grooming Policies

  • Grooming clients must pick up their pets within two hours of notification, or a half-day daycare charge will apply.
  • Grooming corrections can be requested within three days if something isn’t to your liking.

Holiday Policies

  • Holiday boarding reservations require a 50% deposit. Cancellations within 10 days or failure to show will result in deposit forfeiture.
  • We do not accommodate pick-ups or drop-offs on holidays to allow our staff time with their families.

Food & Belongings

  • To avoid upset stomachs, please provide your dog’s own food.
  • Meals should be pre-portioned in Ziploc bags. If not, we will portion them for $5 per pet per day.
  • If no food is provided, we can supply it at $10 per dog per day.
  • Beds, blankets, toys, and treats are welcome but must be labeled. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Additional Fees & Policies

  • Damage Fees: Up to $150 for damages caused by your dog to suites, crates, or other property.
  • Returned Check Fee: $35 for any bounced check.

Please fill out the Mandatory Check In Form prior to bringing your pet to LWPR for boarding.  You are responsible for logging all of your pet’s food needs, belongings, and other relevant information that we need to know to properly take care of your pet.  If you do not complete this form prior to check in, you will be asked to fill this out in our reception area before your pet is checked in.
