At Lake Wylie Pet Resort, the safety and well-being of all our guests are our top priorities. To ensure a healthy environment, we require that all dogs boarding with us are up to date on their vaccinations. When you bring your pet for boarding, please provide the most recent records from your veterinarian confirming the following:
- DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza): One- or three-year vaccination.
- Bordetella: Required annually; this vaccination is often administered only upon request, so please confirm with your vet.
- Rabies: One- or three-year vaccination.
- Canine Influenza: Not required but highly recommended—ask your veterinarian if this vaccine is right for your pet.
Additionally, all pets must be flea- and tick-free before their stay. If your pet is not flea- or tick-free at check-in, we will treat them, and the cost will be added to your bill. If you’d like recommendations for effective flea and tick prevention, we’re happy to help!
Note: While we do not require pets to be spayed or neutered, we strongly encourage it. Please be aware that additional fees apply for pets who are not spayed or neutered.
All LWPR guests must fill out the LWPR Client Agreement prior to any boarding, grooming, or daycare.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all our furry guests! To learn more about our policies or about the measures we take to keep all of our guests safe, please contact the Lake Wylie Pet Resort team today!
