• 2024 Closure Dates: Lake Wylie Pet Resort will be closed the following dates and will not accept boarding reservations, daycare or grooming during these times: February 26 through March 7; April 26 through May 2, and August 6 through August 15. Dates are subject to change.
  • Effective January 1, 2019, we will no longer accept credit or debit card payments for balances totaling under $100. We prefer cash or check for smaller transactions to avoid costly merchant services fees. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • All pets must enter and exit the building on a leash.
  • No holiday pick ups or drop offs, no exceptions.
  • We do not accept puppies under nine months old.
  • We retain the right to refuse to groom and/or board your dog based upon health conditions, temperament, flea/tick infestation, and age.
  • We reserve the right to report any signs of obvious animal abuse or neglect to legal authorities.
  • Lake Wylie Pet Resort does not and will not administer medications to feline guests.
  • A $35 returned check fee will be charge to any check that is not honored by our financial institution.
  • Please separate your dog’s meals into Ziploc bags to ensure that your pet is fed the appropriate serving size each day. Any food not pre-sorted will be returned to you and we will use our own food, for a charge of $10 per pet per day. If you require us to pre-bag your food for your pet, a $10 fee per day will be charged per pet.
  • Please ensure that your dog comes to us clean and free of ticks or fleas. Any dogs that are dirty or that have fleas or ticks will be bathed and treated, at the owner’s expense!
  • Please provide Lake Wylie Pet Resort with your pet’s current vaccination records and your current contact information. You are responsible for filling out all information forms for your  pet(s) and bringing them with you upon check in at every appointment. If you do not fill this out in advance, you will be required to do so before your pet can be checked in.
  • Please label all items that you bring with your pet.
  • We charge an additional $10 per day for females in season and for males that have not been neutered.
  • Check-in time is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday, and 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday. On Wednesday, check in between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Check out time is between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Saturday, and 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday. On Wednesday, check out is between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
  • Early check-in and late checkout is available for $10 on Monday-Friday, only during business hours.
  • All services are by appointment only and must be during business hours. If you cannot make your scheduled appointment please call to reschedule. This is very important as time spent waiting for late appointments takes away from time spent with our furry guests!
  • Any pet that requires extra handling or cannot go outside with other animals will be charged a $8 special handling fee per day of boarding.
  • Individual let outs will receive multiple 20 minute sessions outside during their stay.  We reserve the right to refuse service to animals who cannot be around other animals.
  • We require Feline Leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccinations for cats.
  • For dogs that require medication, a $2-$5 charge per day will be assessed based upon complexity of the medication that needs to be provided. If there is loose medication in food or contained in the pet’s belongings without instructions, the medication will not be provided and we reserve the right to refuse future service.
  • Grooming clients who do not pick up their pets in a timely manner will be charged a half day of daycare at $10.00. Additionally, you have up to three (3) days to return to us for a grooming correction if something is not done to your liking.
  • A $10-$50 fee will be assessed, depending on distance, if we have to travel to pick up food, medication, or take an animal to the vet, etc.
  • You can be charged up to $150 for damages caused by your dog in any of our suites, crates, or any other property.
  • Download the LWPR Client Agreement and Bordatella form.  Both are required.
  • Please fill out the Mandatory Check In Form prior to bringing your pet to LWPR for boarding.  We are no longer logging pertinent information upon check in. You are responsible for logging all of your pet’s food needs, belongings, and other relevant information that we need to know to properly take care of your pet.  If you do not complete this form prior to check in, you will be asked to fill this out in our reception area before your pet is checked in. NO EXCEPTIONS.
